3x Speaker of the Heavens -> Exquisite Blood and Kaya's Wrath.4x Lingering Souls -> Revenge of Ravens. You're going for a budget Soul Sisters and there's several budget replacements to consider. In Soul Sisters there's nonbudget payoff wincons, Serra Ascendant and Heliod, Sun-Crowned, huge payoffs from wanting to gain life. It's called Soul Sisters because of 4x Soul Warden and 4x Soul's Attendant are the sisters, life gain engine. In Soul Sisters you're also growing creatures p/t when you gain life. There's an archetype in Modern called Soul Sisters and that's what you're mimicking here. Ill-Gotten Inheritance isn't worth playing. Revenge of Ravens, Kaya's Wrath, Exquisite Blood could all go in the sideboard in smaller numbers. However, the numbers on some cards are off and there's some cards that belong in the sideboard rather than main deck because they cost too much mana for what they do unless you know for sure you're getting value from them. I see some good deck building here, a clear game plan, some 4 ofs and a nice set of Godless dual lands. Hey, for a first deck, well done on a budget. Orzhov Lifegain Vampire Buff Stuff 2 months ago In short: You gain 1 life twice, triggering Trelasarra, Moon Dancer twice, creating two instances of a +1/+1 counter being placed and you scrying 1. Then the appropriate player gets priority. This process repeats until no new state-based actions are performed and no abilities trigger. Then the game once again checks for and performs state-based actions until none are performed, then abilities that triggered during this process go on the stack. (See rule 101.4.) Second, each player, in APNAP order, puts all remaining triggered abilities they control on the stack in any order they choose. First, each player, in APNAP order, puts each triggered ability they control with a trigger condition that isn’t another ability triggering on the stack in any order they choose. The following rule is in regards to multiple triggered abilities triggering off of the same event:Ħ03.3b If multiple abilities have triggered since the last time a player received priority, the abilities are placed on the stack in a two-part process. â€Ĭreatures like Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant have triggered abilities. Triggered abilities have a trigger condition and an effect. The following rule defines triggered abilities:Ħ03.1. Triggered abilities go on the stack and resolve independently. On a completly different end of the spectrum is Rayami, First of the Fallen You get black for the good vamps, green for ramp and blue for control, plus plenty of kill spells can suddenly turn your commander into a voltron beatstick. Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus doubles your tokens, things like Soul Warden gain you lots of life, if you run tribal effects throw in a copy of Conspiracy so everything's a vamp anyways, and white has a lots of anthems to help boost your boardstate. In a slightly different vein you could look at a soul sisters token build with Elenda, the Dusk Rose. Later on you can start swinging and dropping big bodies, maybe with Lithoform Engine and Strionic Resonator to double the triggers. Thanks to team Amaron Racing and PHM (Peninsula Historic Motorsport) for making this possible.I think with Strefan, Maurer Progenitor you need a lot of effects like Blood Artist and Bastion of Remembrance paired with some token generators and kill spells so early game you're just draining your opponents a bit and making blood tokens. “The track was extra slippy because of the on-and-off rain,” stated Scarlet, “But, despite that, it was still great to be out on the track.” It is my pleasure that my company can help Scarlet in a small way to realise her potential in motorsport.” Generous assistance was also provided by long-time family friend and race mechanic Rob Storey and Andrew Honey of Peninsula Historic Motorsport.Īndy said “It was great to be able to see Scarlet testing today and how much she has improved since I last saw her on a kart. “It’s a pleasure for us to be at the circuit together as a family, with Scarlet being a third generation racer from the Whitaker bloodline.” Scarlet’s younger brother, Harrison, enjoyed his time helping out with the kart and making new friends from other teams. Scarlet Whitaker Dunn put in some impressive laps on a wet and very busy track at Warden Law last weekend, despite sharing the circuit with some higher-powered karts from more senior formulae.
